Functional Training Workout for Seniors & Beginners // Improve Strength & Balance!

If you move better you will feel better. This workout will help you move better by performing functional movements that will make you stronger and have improved mobility and balance. Functional exercises mimic everyday movements such as putting dishes away, climbing up stairs, bending down to pick something up and working in all plains of motion.

Follow along in this all standing workout where I will take you through a full body workout. All exercises are performed for 1 minute followed by a 20 second rest period where I will demonstrate the next move.

Warm up and cool down are included.

I'm using 5 and 10 pound weights in this workout. Please use whatever weights you have and are comfortable with. If you have light dumbbells you may go faster than me. Or if you are using heavier dumbbells you may go slower than me. Always go at your own pace and use a dumbbell that is an appropriate size for you.
