Barre Workout for Beginners & Seniors || Full Body with Dumbbells & Abs
Fun, gentle and easy to follow exercises for a full body Barre workout for Beginners & Seniors! Let’s lengthen and tone the entire body using a chair for our “barre” and a set of light hand weights. I’m using 3 pounds in this workout.
We will start standing for a warm up, then move to the barre to work the thighs and glutes. You’ll increase your heart rate here a little too! Next we will use our dumbbells (or water bottles/soup cans) in a standing position to tone the arms and shoulders. Finally, we will move to a mat or rug on the floor for abdominals and stretching! Make sure you stay until the end for stretching. It’s so important to lengthen the muscles and reduce soreness!
