Senior & Beginner Workout 10 minute ABS and CORE STRENGTH on the mat

10 minute core and abs is a challenging workout! You will move through several body positions working all areas of your core.

It will get easier every time you complete these exercises. I encourage you to try a few of the moves even if they are new to you.

Body positions on the mat include: rest on your back, propped up on your elbows, hands and knees (yoga bird dog) and a modified side plank. They may feel odd the first time, but are excellent exercises to challenge the all-important core.

All exercises have modifications so work at your own level. Support your head with your hands if needed during the crunches.

All exercises only have 10 reps. (A few have two sets) You can do anything 10 times!

Remember to breathe, and keep your belly button drawn in towards your spine. This engages your core and protects your lower back.

I will cue you for proper form at all times.
