Walking Workout for Stronger Bones! Low or High Impact Exercises for Everyone
Get ready for a fun walking workout to build stronger bones! This is an all standing workout that is to the beat of the music and is osteoporosis friendly. It's also perfect for preventing osteoporosis by offering optional high impact weight bearing exercises.
The workout format is as follows:
30 seconds walk in place
30 seconds low impact cardio move
15 seconds high impact cardio option
We will do each cardio exercise twice in sets of two. There are lots of opportunities for you to level up and challenge yourself. You can stick with me to the beat of the music or you can can go at your own pace and follow the timers. The 15 second high impact exercises are optional. Please stick with the low impact if that is what is best for you :)
Strength training is also important for building stronger bones. Follow the 10 minute strength video that will pop up at the end of this video.
