Strength Training Workout // Tabata w/ Isometrics! /// 53min

Welcome to this all standing HIIT weight training workout. It's challenging, but great for experienced beginners & seniors. You can easily make this workout easier or more challenging based on the size weights you use. Tabata is a form of interval training that is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest in an 8 minute round. There are 5 rounds in this video totally 40 minutes of work. Warm up and cool down are also included in this full body osteoporosis friendly workout!

For reference, I'm using sets of dumbbells: 5lb (2-2.5 kg) and 10lb (4.5 kg). Please start with lighter wights and increase as you grow stronger.

Have a chair nearby to serve as a base of support.

  • My shoes are from Oofos: https://oofos.pxf.io/OY4ZeG

They have great arch support and absorb more impact than a typical tennis shoe so they are great for your joints!
